The Emergency Medical Technician course prepares the EMT candidate to provide prehospital assessment and care for patients with a variety of medical conditions and traumatic injuries.
The Vigiles Safety Academy EMT Program has two available formats for students. Students can participate in the traditional 12 week format starting in the fall, with classes consecutively until summer. During summer to fall, Vigiles Safety Academy has made available a 15 day EMT Academy Program to meet the needs of career departments, college students on summer recess or simply those needing to be in a program under shorter duration. Please contact us for enrollment opportunities as well as college credit earned by attending our programs.
